Personally, my first choice would be the Mulberry Mountain Lodge. They have some already discounted rates for this time of year and I understand it's a really nice place to stay. I believe you could ride right out of there, but I'd think you'd want to trailer over everyday to join in on the rides as it's not like it's just a couple of miles away. Still WAY closer than Fayetteville.

The closest hotes are in Fayetteville, about 30 miles NW of the riding area. There are several hotels in the area of I-540 and Hwy 62/Hwy 16. I called to get a better rate, but most wanted a promise of a minimum number of folks making reservations to get a group rate. So I dropped that, and am just listing these two for reference purposes. I've never stayed at any of the 6 or so hotels around that intersection, but they are all name brand and seem okay from driving by.
